On the night of 5 March 1770, in Boston, Massachusetts, icy snow coated the bottom, and a lone British sentry stood guarding the Customized Home, his breath forming clouds of white mist within the freezing air. Stepping out of the darkness, a youngster started taunting him and pelting him with snow, quickly joined by a rising crowd.
