Israeli prime minister’s workplace welcomes US resolution to droop assaults on Iran, however says the two-week truce doesn’t apply to Lebanon.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s workplace has introduced that Israel backs america’s resolution to droop strikes in opposition to Iran for 2 weeks, however mentioned the truce “doesn’t embrace Lebanon”.

In a press release on X on Wednesday, Netanyahu mentioned Israel supported US President Donald Trump’s efforts to make sure “Iran now not poses a nuclear, missile and terror risk to America, Israel, Iran’s Arab neighbors and the world”.

He mentioned the US has instructed Israel that it’s dedicated to reaching these objectives within the upcoming negotiations in Pakistan’s Islamabad on Friday.

However the two-week ceasefire “doesn’t embrace Lebanon”, he added.

Netanyahu’s assertion comes after Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced that the US, Iran and their allies “have agreed to a direct ceasefire in all places together with Lebanon and elsewhere”.

Sharif mentioned the transfer was “efficient instantly”.
