U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) stated Tuesday that the U.S. army carried out a deadly strike on a vessel within the Eastern Pacific, killing three suspected narco-terrorists.
The strike, which was carried out by Joint Activity Drive Southern Spear on the course of Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, focused a vessel that was working alongside recognized narco-trafficking corridors and engaged in narco-trafficking exercise.
No U.S. service members had been injured within the operation, in accordance to SOUTHCOM.
“Intelligence confirmed the vessel was transiting alongside recognized narco-trafficking routes within the Jap Pacific and was engaged in narco-trafficking operations,” the command wrote on X. “Three male narco-terrorists had been killed throughout this motion. No U.S. army forces had been harmed.”

The announcement comes a day after SOUTHCOM stated it carried out the same strike within the Caribbean on Monday, killing two suspected drug traffickers.
